Nearest Airport Shannon:
Estimated Time 45 Minutes
Follow the N19 then join the N19, then take the M18 (towards Ennis). Exit the M18
at the second exit for Ennis, Tulla and Scariff. Then turn right at the roundabout onto
the R352 towards Tulla and Scariff. Go past Tulla and head signs towards Scariff.
From Dublin/Airport:
Estimated Time 120 miles (180 Minutes)
If you are coming from Dublin the best approach is to take the N7/M7
heading for Limerick. Stay on the dual carriageway for approx 2 hr 30 mins.
Then take the Exit 27 signposted for Killaloe/Ballina/Birdhill. Take the R494
until you reach the town of Ballina/Killaloe. Cross the bridge , take a right
after the bridge and follow the road for approx 10km to Tuamgraney. Take
a right at Tuamgraney on the R352 and travel for a further 1.5km to Scariff
Town.
From Cork/Rosslare:
Estimated Time 90 miles (150 Minutes)
If you approach from Rosslare or Cork direction, you will head for Limerick
and take the N7, Dublin direction. Take first left after Birdhill for
Killaloe R494, crossing the bridge and turning right for Scariff/Tuamgraney
on the R463. Turn right at Tuamgraney on the R352 and then Scariff is the
next town.
From Galway:
Estimated Time 1hr 35 Minutes
Take the N18 out of Galway
Take the 2nd exit at the Oranbeg roundabout (Signpost Limerick), next
roundabout take the 1st exit (signposted Limerick) Continue forward on the
N18 entering Clarinbridge, and continue straight toward Gort. Drive straight
through Gort Town, after Lough Cutra Castle take the left onto the R461
signposted Scariff. Continue forward on the R461 entering Caher, continue
forward signposted Scariff.
From Ennis
Exit M18 at Tulla road Junction following the signs for Tulla on the R352. Continue on R352 going through Bodyke,
Tuamgraney and on to Scariff.
