Barley Cove Thatched Cottage is newly renovated to a high specification with all the conveniences necessary for modern living. Situated on a family farm, stone from the original building has been used in a traditional style, along with the use of beams, wooden floors and a cosy peat-burning stove. The newly designed thatched roof adds a unique character to the cottage and will bring you back in time to a traditional Irish dwelling.
Barley Cove Cottage accommodates up to 8 people, is fully wheelchair accessible and is now open for business. Ballyglass Lodge

This charming 18th century stone building incorporates two holiday homes - "The Loft", a semi-detached cottage for 5 (+ cot) and "The Old House", a semi-detached cottage for 6 (+ cot), located approx. one mile from the village of Scariff. Recently restored and refurbished, they are decorated with stone chimney breasts and timber ceilings.
Upstairs living area has patio doors. All bedrooms have ensuite bath/shower, toilet and basin.
Nearby Lough Derg has excellent fishing and the area offers other watersport facilities, an 18 hole golf course, pitch and putt, an equestrian centre and easy access to the major touring routes. "East Clare Way" passes by the door. Area renowned for traditional music and Irish dancing.
